2 civilians killed, 3 wounded in fresh attack in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Two civilians were killed and three others were wounded in a fresh bombing attack in northern Baghdad, a police source said on Wednesday.
“An explosive device went off Wednesday morning (Dec. 9) near al-Sabah library in al-Aadhamiya neighborhood in northern Baghdad, killing two civilians and injuring three,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Four large bombs exploded near education facilities, judicial complexes, and other targets in Baghdad yesterday, killing at least 112 people and triggering recriminations against the Iraqi government and its security forces. Nearly 500 people were wounded, according to Iraqi police officials.
