IED injures 2 people in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Two persons were wounded on Tuesday in a bomb explosion in central Kirkuk, a senior police officer said.
“An improvised explosive device went off on Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 17) near an alcoholic beverages store in Atlas street in central Kirkuk,” Brigadier Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The blast injured two passing civilians and damaged a civilian’s vehicle,” he added.
Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
