Bomb wounds 4 civilians in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Four civilians were wounded in a bomb explosion in southern Baghdad on Wednesday, a police source said.

“A bomb, left by unknown gunmen inside a car near a fuel station in al-Mahmoudiya district, southern Baghdad, injuring four civilians,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“Security forces cordoned off the area,” he added, without giving further details.

A series of the explosions hit the Iraqi capital today, injuring a number of people.
