2nd sticky bomb in Baghdad wounds 5 people

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Five people were wounded in a sticky bomb blast in northern Baghdad, the second in the Iraqi capital on Wednesday, a police source said.

“A bomb, stuck to a civilian vehicle, went off near an army checkpoint in al-Atebaa neighborhood in al-Aadhamiya region, northern Baghdad, injuring two army soldiers and three civilians and damaging the car,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“Security forces sealed off the region and carried the wounded to the nearby al-Nuaaman hospital for treatment,” he added.

The same source had said that a sticky bomb went off in western Baghdad injuring two interior ministry’s employees and five civilians.
