BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The French firm Eryma, specialized in security networks, proposed a technical study to install 10,000 monitoring cameras in the Iraqi capital, the mayor of Baghdad said in a release on Tuesday.

“Mayor Salah Abdilrazaq and a delegation from the French company discussed methods of developing security technology in Baghdad,” said the release issued by the mayor’s office and received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

It said that Abdilrazaq welcomed the proposal; particularly in the light that Eryma has a long-term experience with security issues.
