18 killed, wounded in double blast in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Eighteen persons on Monday were killed or injured when two bombs detonated simultaneously in western Baghdad, according to the Iraqi police.
“This afternoon, three Iraqi servicemen were killed and 15 others, including four soldiers, were wounded when two roadside improvised explosive devices (IEDs) hit an Iraqi army patrol vehicle near al-Badala St., al-Ghazaleyya neighborhood, western Baghdad,” a police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The source did not provide further details.
