Emergency police chief killed by IED

ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: The director of the emergency police in Amiriyat al-Falluja district has been killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Ramadi city, according to a local source.
“On Monday noon, Captain Ibahim Khayrallah was killed when a sticky IED targeted his vehicle near the residential compound in Amiriyat al-Falluja district, southern Ramadi,” Maj. Yasseen Mohammed told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“One of the director’s companions was wounded as a result of the explosion,” the major pointed out.
Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
