Cop killed, 3 wounded in Baghdad incidents

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: One policeman on Sunday was killed and three persons, including another cop, were wounded in two separate incidents in Baghdad, according to the Iraqi police.
“One policeman was killed and another was wounded in an armed attack on their patrol vehicle in al-Ghazaliya area, western Baghdad,” a police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Meanwhile, two civilians were injured when a sticky improvised explosive device (IED) went off inside their vehicle in Zayouna area, eastern Baghdad,” the source noted.
The source did not provide further details.
