13 wanted persons nabbed in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Thirteen wanted men on Sunday were arrested on criminal and terror-related charges in Thi-Qar province, according to the local police.

“Those arrested included two wanted on terror charges,” read a local police statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Police have also managed to defuse an explosive device placed in front of a brick factory in al-Rifaie district, 90 km north of Thi-Qar.
