2 cops killed in Baghdad armed attack

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Two policemen on Sunday were killed during an attack on their patrol in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, according to a security source.

“Unknown gunmen engaged in clashes with a police patrol in al-Jamea neighborhood, western Baghdad, killing two patrolmen,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The source did not provide further details.
