10 wanted men nabbed in Babel raid

BABEL / Aswat al-Iraq: Ten wanted persons on Sunday were arrested on terror-related charges during a wide-scale security raid in Babel province, according to a local police source.

“The raid covered the areas of al-Haswa, al-Iskandriya and al-Qarya al-Asriya (50 km north of Hilla),” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The raid was carried out in light of intelligence tips,” the source noted.
