Armed group leader arrested - BOC

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces on Thursday arrested the emir of what is called the Islamic State of Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, the official spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) said.

The state-run al-Iraqia satellite television reported in a breaking news quoting Qassem Atta that the forces arrested the emir (leader) of the Islamic State of Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi.
