IED injures 2 civilians in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Two civilians were wounded on Thursday in an improvised explosive device explosion in eastern Mosul, a security source said.
“An explosive charge went off on Thursday (April 23) targeting an Iraqi army vehicle patrol in al-Zahraa neighborhood in eastern Mosul, injuring two civilians,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
