4 civilians killed, wounded in Diala blast

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: One civilian on Thursday was killed and three others were wounded in an explosive charge blast that occured in downtown Baaquba city, according to a local police source.
“A sticky improvised explosive device (IED) went off inside a civilian vehicle in al-Ameen neighborhood, downtown Baaquba, killing one civilian and wounding three others,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The source did not provide further details.
Baaquba, the capital city of Diala province, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
