6 EFPs defused in Wassit

WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: The bomb squad in Wassit province on Friday defused six explosively formed penetrators (EFPs) in western al-Kut city, the squad chief said.

“The EFPs were planted at the southern entrance of al-Izza neighborhood, western Kut,” Cap. Haydar Ali told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
