10 wanted men arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces on Thursday arrested ten wanted men in separate areas of Karbala, the information director of the Karbala police said.

“The forces arrested ten wanted men during a wide-scale security operation waged in the province,” Major Alaa Abbas told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, noting that two were arrested in al-Askari neighborhood, west of Karbala, and one was arrested in al-Hurr district in west of Karbala.

“The remaining seven were arrested in al-Husseiniya district, north of Karbala,” he added.

Karbala is located 110 km southwest of Baghdad.
