3 wanted men arrested in Wassit

WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Three wanted men on Wednesday were captured during a security raids in southern Wassit province, according to a local security source.

“The raids targeted several houses in al-Hayy district (40 km south of Kut city),” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Several arrest warrants have been issued against those arrested,” the source added.
Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
