Anbar police receive walkie-talkies, bomb-detection devices

ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Ministry of Interior has supplied the police department in Anbar province with walkie-talkies and bomb-detection devices in an effort to enhance the province’s security.
“The devices will be distributed to police stations all over the province, and a major communications network will be installed at the command center,” Maj. Abdsattar Mohammed told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
