Police detain 30 people in Missan

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: A total of 30 suspects and wanted men were arrested by police forces on Monday in Missan province, the media director of the Missan police said.
“Police forces raided on Monday (Mar. 23) several regions of al-Wehda al-Islamiya, al-Eimarat al-Senaaiya and Alwat al-Khudar, where they arrested two wanted men and 28 suspected gunmen,” Colonel Sadeq Slam told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The operation was based on intelligence information,” he also said.
Amara, the capital of Missan, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
