237 explosive devices found in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces found on Thursday 237 explosive charges at a deserted house in southwest of Kirkuk, the local police chief said.
“Policemen on Thursday morning (Mar. 19) found 237 explosive devices with a special battery at a deserted house in Saida village in al-Rashad district, southwest of Kirkuk,” Brig. Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The house was used as a hideout by armed groups in the region,” he explained.
Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
