KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Wednesday arrested three members of the so-called “al-Naqshabandiya group” in southwest of Kirkuk, according to a security source.

“A joint force launched a security raid in Tarklan region in southwest of Kirkuk, during which three members of the self-styled al-Naqshabandiya group were arrested,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Al-Naqshabandiya is a group that introduces itself as an Islamic spiritual dogmatic organization, but its ideologies changed into ones of armed struggle against the occupation forces.

Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
