Police arrest wanted man in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested a wanted man and two of his brothers in southern Kirkuk, the local police chief said on Wednesday.
“Police forces wagged a crackdown operation in al-Askari neighborhood in southern Kirkuk, where they arrested a wanted man and two of his brothers,” Brigadier Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The detainee is from Diala province and is wanted by security authorities there,” he added.
Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
