40 wanted men detained in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested 40 wanted men and a robbery gang of four women during separate operations throughout Thi-Qar in the past 24 hours, according to two statements of the Thi-Qar police.

“Police forces arrested four women specialized in robbing jewelers in al-Fajr district’s market in north of Nassiriya,” said the first statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The forces arrested 40 wanted men in separate areas of the province in the past 24 hours,” the second statement said.

Nassiriya, the capital of Thi-Qar, is 380 km south of Baghdad.
