Killing gang arrested in Amara

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested a murder gang east of Amara city, Missan province’s police command said in a release on Tuesday.

“The arrests were made during a raid in al-Teeb area, 75 km east of Amara,” said the release that was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The four-member gang is accused of killing four people,” it added.
The release pointed out that the operation relied on intelligence tips, providing no more details.
Amara, the capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
