U.S. forces release 29 detainees from Anbar

ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: U.S. forces freed 29 detainees from the Bucca detention center and handed them over to the Anbar police department, the media director of the Anbar police said on Monday.
“U.S. forces released 29 detainees on Monday (Mar. 16) from the Bucca detention center after they were proved not guilty of involvement in any crime,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“They handed them over to the Anbar police which made sure they are not implicated in any other cases,” he explained.
Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, is 110 km west of Baghdad.
