41 persons arrested in Baghdad in 24 hours – BOC

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces arrested 32 wanted men and nine suspects during security operations throughout the Iraqi capital during the past 24 hours, an official spokesperson for Baghdad’s Operations Command (BOC) said on Saturday.
“The forces defused five roadside bombs during the operations,” General Qassim Atta told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Three kidnapped persons were released,” he said.
Atta pointed out that three displaced families returned home in Baghdad.
