Bomb defused in northern Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Thursday defused a bomb in northern Thi-Qar province, the police department said in a statement.

“Policemen managed on Thursday (Mar. 12) to defuse a local-made bomb, planted near a primary school in al-Muaalimeen neighborhood in central al-Shtra district, northern Thi-Qar,” said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
