Abducted girl released, kidnappers arrested in Amara

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Thursday released a kidnapped girl and arrested her abductors in central Amara city, said the relations and media director of Missan province’s police.
“The girl was released and her two kidnappers were arrested in al-Askari neighborhood, central Amara,” Colonel Sadeq Salam told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The operation was based on an intelligence tip-off,” he said.
Amara, the capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
