IED injures 3 soldiers in Diala

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Three Iraqi soldiers were wounded Wednesday in a bomb explosion in southwest of Baaquba, a police source said.
“An improvised explosive device went off on Wednesday (March 11) targeting an army vehicle patrol in Imam Mansour region in Baladruz district in southwest of Baaquba, injuring three soldiers,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The wounded were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he noted.
He gave no more details.
Baaquba, the capital of Diala, is 57km north of Baghdad.
