Gunmen kill woman in western Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A woman was killed on Tuesday by unknown gunmen in western Mosul, a police source said.
“Unidentified armed men attacked a house in al-Thawra neighborhood in western Mosul and killed a woman inside it,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The victim was an employee at the computer science faculty in the Mosul university,” the source added.
He gave no more details.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is 405 km north of Baghdad.
