4 civilians killed, wounded in Ninewa blast

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Four civilians on Tuesday were killed or wounded in a car bomb blast that targeted a police patrol vehicle in Ninewa province, according to a police source.

“A car rigged with explosives and parked behind Hamdaniya mayor’s office went off today near a police patrol vehicle, killing two civilians and wounding two others,”  the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
