Gang arrested, kidnapped child released in Baaquba

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested a gang specialized in kidnapping and released an abducted child in central Baaquba, said the commander of Diala province’s police.

“The operation took place during a raid in central Baaquba,” General Abdelhussein al-Shemmary told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The gang consists of four members,” he added.
Baaquba, the capital city of Diala province, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
