Civilian gunned down in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A civilian was killed on Monday in a random shooting in western Mosul city, according to a police source.

“A civilian was killed in a random shooting in Ra’s al-Jada region in western Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The civilian got a bullet in his head while he was inside his vegetables store,” he explained.

Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is 405 km north of Baghdad.
