Civilian kidnapped in eastern Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Unknown gunmen on Sunday kidnapped a civilian in Baghdad’s eastern city of Sadr, according to a local police source.

“Today, unidentified gunmen driving two civilian vehicles kidnapped a 30-year-old man near Hily markets in downtown Sadr city,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The kidnappers have fled to an unknown destination, the source added, providing no further details.
