Arms & ammo seized in Missan

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi army’s 10th Division force on Friday seized an amount of arms and munitions during a search raid in different areas of Missan, an official army source said.
“The force seized 16 Kalashnikov assault rifles, eight mortar shells, eight rockets, 15 RPG-7 shells, two night-vision goggles and several anti-personnel and anti-tank landmines,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Thirteen unlicensed vehicles were also seized in the raid,” he added.
Missan lies 390 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
