Ammo cache seized near border with KSA

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: A combined Iraqi force in Thi-Qar seized an ammunition cache in an area near the Iraqi-Saudi border, according to a release by the province’s police on Thursday.
“The cache was seized at al-Khrezat area on Wednesday evening,” read the release as received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The operation was conducted based on intelligence tip-offs,” he said.
Thi-Qar province lies 380 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
