Army release hostage in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Army forces have managed to release a hostage in eastern Mosul city, a security source said on Wedesnday.
“An army force from the fifth Brigade, stationed in Mosul, freed a hostage found inside a deserted house in al-Intisar neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The hostage was kidnapped by unknown gunmen while he was walking near his house in al-Shorta neighborhood two days ago,” the source explained.
Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
