National police release 32 detainees

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: 32 Iraqi detainees were released after they were handed over by the U.S. forces to the Iraqi side, said a commander of the national police contingent.

“The release process was attended by representatives of civil society organizations and detainees’ families,” Lieutenant Colonel Ziyad Mohammed told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
