Iraqi army finds 2 rocket launch pads in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi army force on Tuesday found two Katyusha rockets pads in northeastern Mosul, a military source said.
“Quick Intervention Department (QID) forces today (March 3) found two Katyusha rockets pads with their rockets in al-Rifaq neighborhood in northeastern Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The operation was launched based on intelligence information,” he noted.
“Another force waged a cleaning operation to remove concrete blocs in al-Zahraa and al-Tahrir neighborhoods in eastern Mosul,” he said.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is 405 km north of Baghdad.
