8 Sadrists released in Babel

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces in Babel province on Tuesday released eight followers of Shiite leader Moqtada al-Sadr after they have been cleared of any wrongdoing.

“Those released were found to be innocent of all charges against them,” according to a statement released by the higher media authority of al-Sadr’s office and received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
