Gunman killed in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi security forces killed a gunman who was moving improvised explosive devices in a civilian vehicle in eastern Baghdad on Sunday, a senior security official said.

“Security forces shot down a gunman while he was moving four IEDs inside a vehicle from one place to another in the area of Tareq neighborhood, eastern Baghdad,” Maj. Qassem Atta, the spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC), told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He did not give further details.
