KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Kirkuk’s Asayesh forces on Wednesday arrested a member of al-Naqshabandiya group in southern Kirkuk city, according to a local source.

“Today, local forces captured Abdelkareem Ahmed Mohammed, a member of al-Naqshabandiya group in al-Mamdouda neighborhood, southern Kirkuk,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The source did not provide further details of the arrests.
Al-Naqshabandiya is a group that introduces itself as an Islamic spiritual dogmatic organization, but its ideologies changed into ones of armed struggle against the occupation forces.
Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
