Joint Iraqi-U.S. military drills end in Missan

MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: Joint military drills between Iraqi and U.S. forces using live ammunition wrapped up in Missan province on Monday, according to the Multi-National Force (MNF).

“MNF and Iraqi army’s 38th Division soldiers conducted joint war games with live mortar 120 mm. ammunition,” an MNF spokesman told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The drills and fire-testing have furnished the unit with new experience as we observed their combat abilities,” the spokesman added.
