4 arrested on criminal, terror charges in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Four wanted men on Monday were arrested on criminal and terror-related charges in downtown Nassiriya city, according to an official police statement.
“Local police forces in Thi-Qar conducted a search raid in downtown Nassiriya, during which four wanted men were arrested…,” read the statement that was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Those arrested are believed to have been involved in kidnaps and robberies,” the statement noted.
Nassiriya, the capital city of Thi-Qar province, lies 380 km south of Baghdad.
