4 gunmen captured in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi army force arrested four persons believed to belong to the so-called Islamic State of Iraq group during a security operation in eastern Mosul on Saturday, an official military source said.
“Personnel from the Iraqi army’s 2nd Division arrested on Saturday (Feb. 21) four wanted men suspected members of the armed group Islamic State of Iraq in al-Bakr and al-Zuhoor neighborhoods, eastern Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The arrests were conducted based on intelligence tip-offs,” he added, not giving more information.
Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
