Weapons, explosives depot found in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces on Thursday found a stockpile of weapons and explosives in a village in south of Kirkuk, a media source said.

“The forces found this morning (Feb. 19) a weapons and explosives cache near al-Muraa village in Daqouq district in south of Kirkuk,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The depot contains a BKC gun and two boxes of ammunition, as well as an amount of explosives,” he added.

Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
