14 persons arrested in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Eight wanted men and six suspects on Wednesday were arrested in different parts of the Iraqi capital, according to Baghdad’s Operation Command (BOC).

“Security forces arrested eight wanted men, detained six suspects and defused nine improvised explosive devices (IEDs),” read a BOC statement that was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Three displaced families have returned to their houses throughout the past 24 hours,” the statement added.
