IED kills cop, injures 4 north of Diala

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: A policeman was killed and four others were wounded on Tuesday in a bomb explosion in the north of Baaquba, a security source said.
“An improvised explosive device went off on Tuesday (Feb. 10) in front of al-Azeem region police station in Khalis, north of Baaquba,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The explosion killed a policeman and injured four others,” he added.
Baaquba, the capital of Diala, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
