6 wanted men detained in Basra

BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Tuesday arrested six wanted men and seized a number of missiles in western Basra, the media office of the Basra police said.
“The forces launched a security operation in Umm Qasr region in western Basra, where they arrested six wanted men,” the office told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The forces seized a number of missiles during the operation,” he added.
He did not add further details.
Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad.
