2 civilians wounded in armed attack

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Two civilians on Tuesday were wounded in an armed attack by gunmen near Makhmour district, according to an army source.

“Today, two civilians were wounded in an armed attack by unknown gunmen driving a civilian vehicle near Dozanti village (27 km southwest of Makhmour),” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The wounded were rushed to an emergency hospital in Arbil,” the source explained, adding that one of them is said to be in an “unstable” condition.
The disputed district of Makhmour is administratively affiliated with Ninewa province.
